Scholarships, Student Teaching Stipends and Internships, Leadership Coaching and Non-traditional/Alternative Certification. In an effort to offset the financial burden of their education, Black Men Teach offers up to $20,000 scholarships to its participants.

Black Men Teach understands that it takes the full community to fulfill our mission. Black Men Teach leads a cohort of other nonprofits, universities, and state government entities to come together and each do its part to recruit, train, support, and retain our educators.

Student Loan Repayment Program (SLRP), Instructional Coaching and Alternative Certification. Most teachers graduate school with student loan debt. and Black men have significantly more debt than their white counterparts. This burden often leads men to leave the profession.
