As one of the first buddhist elementary schools for children in the west, MWS is an independent progressive buddhist elementary school with approximately 100 students ages 3-12 enrolled in pre-k to 6TH grade. In tandem with the core dharma focus of the school's mission is a commitment to being an academically excellent school.
