All animals that are rescued are provided veterinary services and placed in temporary foster homes until adopted. During the year, approximately 495 animals were placed in foster homes throughout Rochester/Monroe County and fostered until adopted out into their forever homes.Each dog costs us about $200-$250 and each cat about $90-$100.
