Where the work happens
Organizes as statewide volunteer effort to enhance government transparency by determining the positions of candidates in all RI elections, including all local elections, both primaries and general elections, on reproductive and LGBTQ+ issues.
We organized grass-roots support for the Freedom to Read legislation in RI, which affirms the rights of citizens to have access to reading mateiral without censorship.
The Womxn Project advocates for minority rights in local communities by providing information on the relevant issues and organizing community members to make their voices heard at local governance meetings in every town and city in RI.
