ALS in 2022 provided onsite/phone/video interpreting and document translation at non-profit rates for local non-profit organizations, small medical offices, federally qualified healthcare centers, and immigration clinics.

ALS expanded our services to interpreters and translators in 2022 by acquiring the programming and assets of KITA, the Kentucky Interpreters and Translators Association, a nonprofit professional society that ceased operations. ALS is excited to be revamping this program for language professionals and integrating it into ALS's operations.

ALS offers scholarships for English proficient immigrants and native born Americans to take language and interpreter / translator classes and proficiency exams, enabling them to launch a career in interpreting and translation services. ALS also offers other services such as Notarizing documents to interpreters and translators.
