Where the work happens
During five one labs eighth year of operations in the kurdistan region of iraq, we expanded our impact through core intensive programming and new thematic activities to address local challenges relating to climate and sustainability, rural economic development and digital skills building for youth.
Five one labs grew our teams and programs in barranquilla, colombia in FY25, increasing our entrepreneur reach, embedding our role in the local ecosystem and adapting our programs to serve the evolving needs of our community.
In FY25 we tested our model outside of our core geographies in the kurdistan region of iraq and barranquilla, colombia. We piloted a us-based program, business bloom, to support 20 immigrant and refugee entrepreneurs to launch and formalize 17 small businesses in raleigh, north carolina.
