During 2020, AIA received a one-time $50,000 Entrepreneur Support grant from the Wells Fargo Foundation's Innovation Incubator (IN2) program to provide direct funding to Ag-&-Food entrepreneurs directly impacted by the COVID shut-down.

During 2020, AIA began preparations to launch The Lab@AgStart, a new wet-lab incubator for science-based startup companies in Woodland, CA. The Lab@AgStart will house and support regional Ag | Food | Health technology startups to help grow economic activity in Woodland and the surrounding Greater-Sacramento region.
