Illinois River Restoration Program

The WCRC implemented a plan to create a stream restoration mitigation bank in the illinois river watershed. This mitigation bank resulted in the restoration of aquatic resources through stream restoration and generates program revenue that furthers the WCRC'S mission of improving natural resources.

City of Fayetteville

(WRWWTP maintenance): the WCRC has an agreement to maintain stream restoration projects that were previously implemented by the WCRC. The original project (WRWWTP) was funded in part by the city of fayetteville to protect their initial investment in the green infrastructure and water quality improvements.

Nrcs-Rcpp

The WCRC received a grant from the usda-natural resources convservation service to implement stream restoration and other best management practices to reduce sediment inputs and improve water quality within a sub-area of the west fork white river watershed.
