Provided continuing education and professional support. Provided virtual and in person nursing education programs on the following topics: nursing documentation, implicit bias, safe staffing, and medical ethics and systemic racism in healthcare.

Held a nurses month celebration to celebrate our nurse of the year. Published a twice-yearly newsletter and distributed 3,400 copies by mail and at events.

Awarded 10 scholarships ranging from $500 to $2,000 to nursing students including to nurses who are working on advanced degrees. Presented both in person and via zoom to nursing students as well as high school students who are interested in pursuing a career in nursing to promote a career in nursing and assist with supporting new nurses.
