Where the work happens
Operation of an art center and gallery in milton, VT. The art center offers a permanent location for local artists to create and display their works. The center is staffed by three part-time employees and one full-time, as well as by volunteers. The center is open to the public and admission is free.
Numerous monthly workshops are offered to the public. These include painting classes, art for those with dimentia, the queer art club, the cantonese club, crochet workshops, professional development and more. Throughout the year, several themed events and workshops were offered, especially near the major holidays.
Social sundays, a free weekly art program, was held year-round with the support of the vermont federal credit union as a sponsor. These art projects were taught by a rotation of local artists as instructors. We served over 65 families and over 200 kids during 2024.
