Where the work happens
Re-Sale Store
Donated items are provided to customers AND/OR clients at little or no cost. Those seeking assistance may obtain vouchers for goods based on assessed needs by staff. Others are assisted by the availability of low cost goods that they might not otherwise be able to afford. The program employs on average the equivalent of 4 fulltime people.
Voucher Program
In addition to vouchers provided to the re-sale store, vouchers are offered to help with needs including medical supplies and doctor visits, hygiene products, baby food and diapers, shower facilities, laundry facilities, daytime sleeping area, wifi and computer access, meals, and emergency shelter.
T.h.r.i.v.e.
This is a structured 12-24 month transitional housing mentorship program with 4 mentors and 4 mentees during 2022. Clients are evaluated and individual goals are developed. Intensive job therapy is provided at the re-sale shop store to move the clients towards marketable employment.
