Safe babies-a collaborative approach to transform the experience of infants and toddlers in the child welfare system from traumatic to healing. In 2022, we served 73 children 0-36 months and their families which impacted an additional 160 individuals in 3 urban texas counties.
Community systems-babies in baytown (bib) and the houston infant toddler coalition (hitc) bring community organizatons and families together to develop local solutions to enhance the mental health of very young children and to promote systems-wide change to improve the development of infants and toddlers in se texas.
Professional & parent education-first3years empowers caregivers and stakeholder systems through training in current research and best practices in early childhood development. We trained 1,767 unduplicated ec professionals whose work affects over 190,000 children.
