The Foundation supportS and benefitS NCHA by maintaining scholarship funds, providing crisis funding, developing educational and animal welfare and research programs, and developing programs designed to honor the legendary people and great horses that have shaped our industry and to preserve and tell the stories of the great horses and horsewomen and horsemen of the past to future generations.

Scholarship-The Scholarship Committee shall provide financial assistance to members of the NCHA. Recipients are selected based on academic achievement, financial need and cutting horse involvement, as well as leadership and communication skills.

Education and Promotion of the Sport-The Education Committee shall be responsible for coordinating and assisting with the educational programs and presentations of the Foundation and promotion of the Cutting Horse and the sport of Cutting.
