Since 2003, Bag It has provided education and resources to help cancer patients and their families cope with diagnosis and treatment. The Bag It Bag is available in English, Spanish Bicultural, and 10 cancer-specific editions.

Bag Its 5-day leadership conference, Escape to THRIVE, held its 13th event in January 2025, hosting 35 advocates from 20 states, Canada, Puerto Rico, and Colombia. Participants represented diverse backgrounds and 15 cancer types, with 89% survivors and 15% LGBTQ advocates.
