In 2022, the Equal Justice Center (EJC) successfully completed its 22nd year of providing free legal aid on employment-related problems to low-wage working families and individuals across Texas, regardless of their immigration status.

In 2022, EJC employed one fellowship-attorney who played an integral and vital role in EJCs provision of legal assistance to our clients. EJC also helps strengthen the legal profession by cultivating a new generation of public service lawyers through the EJCs Transnational Worker Rights Clinic at the University of Texas Law School.
