Family empowerment center-provides families who have children between the ages of 3 years and 22 years old access to information, training and support needed to be effectively involved with their children's education. This project served over 400 families.

Sutter county children & families commission is committed to ensuring all children ages 0 to 5 are born healthy and raised in nurturing homes and communities. Their goal is that each child enters school healthy and ready to learn. The sutter county children & families commission and its programs are tobacco tax (prop 10) funded programs.

The early start (es) program is california's early intervention program for infants and toddlers with developmental delays or at risk for having a developmental disability and their families. Early start services are available statewide and are provided in a coordinated, family-centered system.
