Energy assistance - the lumbee tribe has an energy program that is funded by children and family services. This program addresses the heating and cooling needs of low-income american indian households. This program services approximately 7,000 families annually.
Education
Vocational rehabilitation - the lumbee tribe provides services to individuals with disabilities to guide them in the direction of gainful employment. This program is funded by the department of education. These services can be in the form of health services, education, providing necessary job tools, and on-the-job training.
