In 2020 MSI strengthened its impact in Africa, particularly in the Sahel, a region with high unmet need for contraception. MSI expanded its service reach into the DRC, working in one of the most impoverished and conflict-ridden nations. Across Africa, MSI deployed 28 outreach teams, operated 10 centers, engaged more than 200 franchisees.
