Where the work happens
Tutoring Programs
1:1 tutoring pairs students with a reading specialist, two times per week year round. In 2024, we provided more than 3,000 hours of 1:1 tutoring to more than 60 students. This free tutoring program is typically the only resource students have to reach full literacy.
Tilt Tech
The indy learning team uses adira reads' tilt tech, a literacy building program that uses ai to improve instructional impact, steady student growth, stronger foundational literacy skills, and actionable insights for teachers and administrators. In 2025, tilt tech with adira reads supported more than 2,500 students.
The free communi-tea book club is a partnership with tamika catchings and her foundation catch the stars. Free books are available year-round at tea's me community caf near tarkington park in indianapolis. In 2024, we gave away more than 3,500 new books. We have 1,400 people in our free communi-tea book club.
