Senior Low Income Family Assistance
Vas helps to improve the quality of life for seniors and people at risk. Vas supports seniors, disabled people and low-income families by providing the following CULTURAL/LINGUISTIC services to assist them with social benefits applications and referral services, while also aiming to reduce isolation and loneliness.
Affordable Healthcare Enrollment
Vas is the only agency serving the vietnamese community that is certified by the maryland health connection. Vas staff have provided more than one thousand services to help vietnamese community members to enroll in eligible health insurance programs.
English as a Second Language Class Program
Vas provides drop-in english classes at no cost to seniors, new immigrants, and low-income community members. We also serve as a referral service that connects our community with job opportunities.
