The Hope Garden

The organization established the hope garden in 2009 to provide structured garden, nutrition, and culinary programs for the residents of stenton family manor (an emergency housing facility for families experiencing homelessness).

The organization established the hope farm at martin luther king high school in 2014 to teach life skills related to urban farming, culinary arts and nutrition to students with intellectual disabilities and autism.

Youth Leadership Development

This program takes place in collaboration with the co-op and saul agricultural high school to serve as an outdoor classroom and land lab for saul students. The co-op's farm is the setting for hands-on experimental learning related to small-scale urban farm production, as well as how to prepare and enjoy nutritious food.
