HopeAustin is a volunteer based, local 501(c)(3) charitable organization aimed at securing basic life sustaining needs to the youngest members of our community. With the assistance of community partnerships, HopeAustin works to eliminate childhood hunger one meal and one child at a time. HopeAustin provides weekend meals to local students who experience food insecurity while away from their free/reduced meal programs offered by local school districts.

Currently, HopeAustin provides weekend meal kits containing 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 2 dinners, 2 snacks as well as vital shelf stable protein drinks to ensure proper nutrition and calories. In addition, we operate food pantries at several middle/high schools.
