NWDP rescued 147 dogs/cats/pigs and adopted 147 in 2020, compared to 148 rescues and 133 adoptions in 2019. We took on some dogs with behaviroial challenges that required more investment in training. These dogs were rehabilitated and trained, and are currently living in their forever homes.

NWDP continued its Senior Program with 23 resident senior dogs and 4 passing away during 2020. Many of these seniors have extensive medical needs and we were able to provide them with major surgeries and on-going quality care.

We continue to offer financial assistance to low-income families needing support with medical bills and spay/neuter services. We hosted 3 spay/neuter clinics in Eugene during 2020, as well as assisting with Portland clinics and area residents needing medical care for their pets.
