Advancing Science

Evermore develops its policies, programs and system change priorities based on state-of-the-art science. Evermore developed the nation's first facts & figures for bereavement. The document synthesizes the state of bereavement science, the implications of death for bereaved parents, children, siblings, and spouses.

Advancing Policy and Systems Change

Evermore created and led a national coalition that successfully included paid bereavement leave in president biden's domestic policy agenda, the american families plan. Paid bereavement leave remained in the initial versions of build back better but was removed by house leadership in the final bill.
