Community Education

We ethically tell stories and share photos of people who are experiencing homelessness with the simple purpose of showing the beauty in each person. For those living inside, this serves as a soft entry to the issue of homelessness. It is a small step toward overcoming the barriers of negative stereotypes and fear.

We built fully equipped, healthy homes for people experiencing homelessness. Block homes were permitted and placed in homeowners' backyards throughout seattle. This model gave residents a place to call home and communities around the city an opportunity to make a real difference in supporting our unhoused neighbors and addressing the…

Direct Client Services

Window of kindness (wok): effective april 2024, we terminated all physical location leases. Wok ceased to be a permanent physical office location and ceased operations. On november 12, 2024, we reintroduced wok as a remote pop-up concept, with permit approval, using public parks or parking lots for 4 hours of community connection.
