promotes community service and advocacy within the 77 neighborhoods in Chicago with a grassroots approach. Some of the initiatives include: training and sponsoring 25 block clubs including new signage; Senior snow shoveling with volunteers; Be a Part of the Light - providing holiday decorations.
Youth Development Explorers Program takes teenagers from schools in low social economic status neighborhoods on educational explorations. They receive a firsthand glimpse into different cultures and careers, people and businesses.
