Community Outreach

Food and supplies were delivered bi-monthly to 97 widows throughout 10 villages. A new facility is in the beginning stages that will serve as a full-time care center for widows. A well for water that serves the ministry and community was enhanced. Buckets with water filters were distributed to widows and schools.

Health Care

Health care is provided at PPMs medical/dental clinic that serves 12 surrounding rural villages. With a full time nurse, the clinic provides over-the-counter medications and vitamins as well as glasses. A gynecological exam table, ultra-sound machine and oxygen tank were added this year.

Education

In the rural mountains, local government schools only offer classes through 6th grade. PPM provides an opportunity for students to attain a higher education to junior high and senior high levels by subsidizing teacherssalaries who offer these classes on Saturdays.
