First Robotics

Mentors guide students through team-based problem-solving projects and compete via FIRST organization, which has 1000s of teams worldwide. Students also attend community events such as the St. Mary's College of Maryland River Concert Series (~5000 visitors) St.

Program participants develop engineering skills and design/manufacture robots focused on violence for use in various competitions (e.g., National Havoc Robot League). This category includes the internal and travel teams, as well as the in-house combat-focused summer camps.
