Summary of the Filing
Where the work happens
POP's virtual programming delivered accessible, intensive instruction to students throughout the school year. Composers, virtual artists, orchestral musicians, and music therapy specialists worked with the students online.
Play on Philly continued operating programming at St. Francis de Sales School, Independence Charter School West, and Roman Catholic High School. A new program for pre-K students was offered at KenCrest Learning Center West.
POP continues to measure Teaching Artist effectiveness through an evaluation dashboard and regular class observation and feedback sessions lead by our Music Director. Teaching Artists are observed three times per year and evaluated on preparation, pedagogy, engagement, and relevance.
