Through our foster and adoption program we provide medical care, nurishment, leashes/martingale collars, slip leads, toys, training and rehabilitation, transportation and love to the puppies and dogs in need. Our dogs are retired research dogs, shelter dogs, or owner surrendered dogs We were inspired by the ahimsa which means non-violence to all living things. We wish safety and peace to all living creatures.

Our funds were spent on rehabilitation and rehoming dog. During 2025 we rescue 294 puppies and dogs. They all received extensive medical prior to adoption which included puppy vaccines, adult vaccines, de-worming, treatment for Lyme, Erlichia, and other tickborne diseases as needed, microchips, and spay and neuter surgeries (as the puppy…

We did not turn away any dog due to breed, age or situation. We rehomed a high percentage of beagles and hounds which are often discarded by hunters. We also helped pit bulls and other bully BREEDS.WE helped owner surrender dogs find new homes.

In june, we saved oatmeal, a dog from the new york city shelter system that arrived with a cough that was really pneumonia. He ended up going to an animal hospital where they had him in an oxygen tank in intensive care. It was touch an go but eventually he recuperated and now lives with a wonderful family who loves him.
