Beyond Barriers Athletic Foundation promotes healthy lifestyles, improves personal safety, and provides structure for lifelong achievement by providing subsidies for aquatic and other athletic programs serving disadvantaged youth. Our goal is to promote accessibility in underserved communities located in the Counties of San Francisco, San Mateo and Santa Clara, California (and eventually extending throughout the San Francisco Bay Area) by supporting programs that educate, train, and engage members of the community to be able to safely use existing aquatics facilities and engage in structured athletic activities.
