The Project Create Arts Center, opened in 2015, is full of art supplies and equipment, computers with creative design software, state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, and a talented staff of experienced teaching artists and art therapists.

Since 1994, Project Create has provided weekly multidisciplinary arts education classes taught by experienced teaching artists in partnership with community-based organizations that provide services to children, youth and families experiencing homelessness and poverty.

Two Saturdays a month, local families engage in artistic exploration, art-making and creative play at Project Create Family Art Day. For two hours on Saturdays, Project Create serves two (or three) generations of family members, from infants to grandmothers, all of whom enjoy the chance to create art in community.
