Transforming Lives Through Movement. Young Dance encourages youth in our community to build body and spirit through the creative art of dance. The dance school and company collaborate with professional artists forge meaningful community partnerships and push the boundaries of the art and practice of dance. Young Dance is an inclusive artistic community where creativity flourishes and all are encouraged to aspire to artistic professionalism.

Young Dance Classes

Young Dance offered 23 weekly classes at our studios including Dance Together Creative Movement Levels 1-2 Modern Levels 1-5 Ballet Levels 1-2 Hip HopLevels 1-2 Breaking Lets Get Movin and All Abilities Dancing Levels 1-2. We also offered 1online class. We served a total of 220 students.

Young Dance Company

15 dancers participated in the Young Dance Company under the direction of Anat Shinar in the 2022 to 23 season. company. The company performed at the Luminary Arts Center to culminate the season in a Shinar and 3 guest artists created dances for the concert that featured the work created by the professional artists and the company…

Though individuals with disabilities are welcomed into any of our classes and programs Young Dance also offers specific classes and programs geared towards individuals with disabilities. 18 individuals participated in our ongoing All Abilities Dancing classes Sep to May.
