Where the work happens
Young Dance maintained operations and programming as we navigated the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic, with a priority of keeping our community of staff, dancers, and families safe. In July -August 2020, we offered both outdoor and virtual programs with 22 participants total. Our core program year was divided into three sessions.
Young Dance Company
15 dancers participated in the Young Dance Company in the 2020-2021 season. We held virtual performances in December 2020 and February 2021. We held an outdoor, hybrid performance in May 2021.
All Abilities Dancing
Though individuals with disabilities are welcomed into any of our classes and programs, Young Dance also offers specific classes and programs geared towards individuals with disabilities. Offering online programming was vital to continuing to engage individuals with disabilities July 2020-June 2021.
