The yombal mbojj project worked with women's groups in senegal to create small businesses with threshers and portable milling technology for processing locally produced crops. Bountifield grinders were used to make value added products, including blended flours, ground spices, and nutritious snacks.

The mavuno bora project in kenya is providing technology, business delivery services and financing support to micro-enterprises and rural entrepreneurs so they can develop a small business helping smallholder farmers to process, save and sell more food in their local community.

The malawi activities centered around introducing and testing groundnut shelling technology for small-scale entrepreneurs. 11 entrepreneurs. 1,767 farmers benefited. 169 kilograms of groundnuts were shelled. The monetized added value from farmers selling nuts and saving time was just under $47,000.
