Head Start/ Early Head Start

Funded enrollment was 220 head start and 28 early head start. Cumulative enrollment was 276 head start, 56 early head start, and 0 pregnant women. The head start program provides a comprehensive school readiness program which includes educations as well as mental and physical health and well being.

Energy Assistance

FY25 update: for the FY25 liheap program there were 3,630 households who receives assistance. This is for the time period of 7/1/24 - 6/30/25. This total includes 2832 households who received regular liheap assistance(dvp) and 752 who also received emergency assistance (ra).

Project Bread

Total meals provided during the FY25 the period of 7/1/2024-6/30/2025 were 37,763. Out of those 37,763 meals, there were 11,756 congregate meals eaten at the congregate sites, 25,046 were home delivered, and 961 were picked up meals. Pick up meals are no longer countered separately; they are counted as congregate per midland.
