01

Symphony orchestra and chorus educates the public on the study and culture of instrumental and vocal music. Performed 11 concerts from october to may. Provided free admission for age 18 and under to all concerts (292 children).

Quincy area youth chorus (qayc) concert choir (grades 7 to 12) and kinderchor (grades 3 to 7) performed fall & spring concerts, and joined the quincy symphony and choruses for the holiday pops concert. Concerts featured songs in several languages. Students with financial need received free tuition.

03

Quincy area youth orchestra (qayo) provided music instruction & performance opportunities to area student musicians in grades 7 to 12. Traveled to macomb, il for masterclasses with wiu faculty. Performed side-by-side with the quincy symphony.
