Provide veterinary care to bring dogs back to health and house dogs for short periods of time when foster homes are not immediately available. In 2025, 98 ridgebacks were taken in and 65 were placed.

Feed and provide necessary supplies to care for dogs while in foster homes. Foster homes provide care to dogs while they are restored to physical and behavioral health.

Transportation and shelter fees. Transport of 98 new dogs and 65 placed dogs served in 2025 from shelters and surrendering homes to foster homes, veterinary clinics, trainers and ultimately permanent homes. Shelter fees depend on shelter and volunteers are reimbursed at or less than the IRS maximum limits.
