The Southeast Environmental Task Force's Pollution Mitigation Program was the premier program for the organization. In 2021, the organization led a successful campaign that included a 30-day hunger strike to stop the relocation of a metal shredder from the Lincoln Park community to the Southeast Side of Chicago.
