Where the work happens
We received a donation from the Don Wood Foundation (80 20 Foundation Trust) to pass through to FWCS for a Smart Manufacturing Pathways program at South Side and North Side. The donation was $622,027 in 2025 and we passed on to FWCS $611,589. The balance is being held for 2026.
We gave Fort Wayne Community Schools $108,121 to (1) purchase and refurbish musical instruments for 5th grade and middle school students use, and (2) provide supplemental school year and summer band instruction for students.
Expenses associated with an Early Learning Center that FWCS is planning to build with donations. The expenses in 2025 were for professional services associated with branding, videos/photography, and the campaign concept. Donations for the Early Learning Center were used for the expenses.
