Sheltered, inc. Administers the only emergency shelter in springfield, ohio for homeless families, single women, and men. The two shelters are operated 24 hours a day with staff. The maximum length of stay is 90 days.

The housing stabilization program contains two elements 1) rapid re-housing, which provides a flexible array of financial assistance to enable homeless individuals and families to become and remain stably housed. Assistance can be provided in the form of rental assistance, security and utility deposits.

Sheltered, inc. Manages seventeen fully furnished apartments for the next step program, independent living supportive assistance (ilsa). This supportive housing program housed families and single men and women.
