Medical Care/Snip

Routine medical treatment was provided to opin foster pets as well as community pets whose owners were in financial crisis (known as the keep FIDO/FLUFFY at home program), and to those pets both in the community, and in opin's foster program that were in need of extreme critical vet care (known as the ollie fund and we love lucy…

Foster/Adoption

Foster programs help to save lives by providing temporary solace for a family pet, or by helping transition a homeless pet from the shelter to a home environment. These foster programs help to increase the adoptability of a pet. Opin promotes adoption of homeless animals.

Training

Community outreach program offerred 50 weeks per year and is attended by an average of 20-25 and upwards of 30-35 dogs per week. These dog training classes are attended by dogs adopted from opin, its foster dogs and dogs owned by the general public. Classes are open to every dog owner.
