In 2021, depave engaged more than 300 volunteers for a total of 1,225 volunteer hours in removing asphalt, installing native plants, and supplemental construction. We removed 16,865 square feet of asphalt and reduced annual stormwater runoff by about 168,650 gallons. This year we planted 2,056 trees, shrubs, and other native plants.
