Where the work happens
Conducted summer camp for seven weeks that served over 400 children. Summer camp focuses on making art and music and takes place from June through August.
Conducted in-school and after-school music and instrument building workshops, serving over 350 students in four underserved local public schools. The classes are held between September through May.
Organizing a new program called Redeline Redefined, including public concerts, sound walks and community talks. Thingamajigs has commissioned six artists (musicians, poets, film makers, etc) that live/work in formally redlined areas to create original work based on the history of neighborhoods.
