Rescue dogs from kill shelters, hoarding situations, accept owner surrenders and strays to keep them out of kill shelters, as space and financial limitations allow. We took in 176 dogs in 2024. We provide for the physical and emotional needs of the dogs we take in to prepare them for adoption.

Adopt dogs to good, responsible families who will provide a safe and loving environment for the adopted dogs. We adopted out 168 dogs during 2024. We use Facebook, our website, and free websites to describe our adoptable dogs to potential adopters. In addition we host or participate in various adoption events.

We use our website and Facebook page to educate about the importance of 1) Spay and neuter programs to reduce pet over population; 2) Heartworm prevention to reduce the number of dogs that get infected and then owner surrendered or abandoned because of the expensive treatments required to save the dog; 3) Microchipping animals to help…
