Community Leadership & Advocacy. The purpose of this study/program is to empower community members with the knowledge and skills to effectively advocate for changes that will facilitate the opportunity to achieve optimal health. Through funding from Neighborhood Recovery CDC, the training was implemented in the OST/South Union community.

Health Corner Stores. The purpose of this initiative was to implement the Heart Smart health education curriculum into the existing health education and food demonstration component of the Healthy Corner Store initiative.
