Where the work happens
The backpack program supported 50 teams with more than 2.9 million doses of medicine. The teams provided medical care for more than 147,000+ isolated and internally displaced persons in Burma's conflict zones. They treated more than 41,000 patients. The program trained 40 new medics.
Education programs include Minnahaw School.- Provides secondary and post-secondary education to students displaced by violence in Burma. Graduated 47 students into advanced programs to include 4 students to Universities.
Kirana provides expert film documentary support that captures the courage, commitment and struggles of Burma's ethnic minorities.
