Farm Explorer Suite of Programs

The farm explorer is a mobile farm and food education program that engages youth in hands-on discovery about how produce is grown. Launched in 2013, we serve 5,000 people annually in the 5-COUNTY region, 80% of whom qualify for free or reduced lunch.

Our healthcare programs utilize gardening, food access, and education to improve health. We operate deaver farm, one of the nation's first hospital-based farms, at lankenau medical center in montgomery county. We grow 5,000 pounds of produce annually that is distributed to patients expierencing food insecurity.
