Podium provides Richmond, VA youth ages 10-19, over 70% of whom live near or below the poverty line, opportunities to explore their passion for the literary arts while improving essential writing and communication skills. Curriculum includes writing units in creative expression, expository writing, STEM, collegiate and workforce development, debate, and social action. Programs also include family writing to encourage healthy communication practices.
