Gateway Center has been actively involved in the development of the program implementation and staffing of two recent initiatives in Atlanta that used hotels as shelter. Our staff handles recruitment, onboarding, and training of personnel to work in the hotel shelters.

The Evolution Center was launched on December 6, 2017, with funding provided by Partners from Home, to address the needs of Atlanta's chronically homeless in need of a low barrier shelter option. Evolution Center provides emotional and physical support for men who are experiencing homelessness.

Gateway Center, in partnership with United Way and the City of Atlanta, provided assistance with rent, utilities, mortgages, and security deposits to households within the City of Atlanta who experienced a financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
